DSI Support Benefits Client Charities

of the 2nd annual
SleepTrain Charity
Golf Classic in the
Sacramento area.
The event raised
over $155,000
for the Ticket to
Dream Foundation and their programs,
which focus on
children in need.
This year’s recipients were Families First, a Northern California
group providing counseling and therapy to kids at risk, and Just
in Time for Foster Youth, committed to helping foster youth
transition into adulthood in the San Diego area.
In Phoenix, AZ, DSI continued its commitment to client
philanthropies by participating in Sleep America’s 5th Biannual
Charity Golf Tournament. The September event
raised more than $80,000 for three local charities: Florence
Crittenton, Sojourner Center and AZ Youth Development.
 In Los Angeles, DSI contract drivers and their assistants
donated their time and trucks to assist area hunger relief
organization, SOVA. DSI teams delivered over 77,000 lbs
of food for approximately 6,200 needy families. SOVA,
Hebrew for “to eat and be satisfied,” has an important job
to do in this economy. “We are grateful to have Delivery
Solutions as a friend and partner as we do what we can
to help those less fortunate,” said Rick Powell, of SOVA.
“Sleep America, Sleep Train and SOVA share our
philosophy of giving back to those in need,” states Dave
Thompson.
