Eighteen DSI owner-operators have qualified for the company’s
Insurance Rebate, an award of 750.00 for each permanent
truck in service, announced Safety/Risk Manager Mark Russell. Recipients
completed a claim free year in the areas of product
damage, in-home damage, and vehicle
accidents. Russell credits the innovative program as key
to stabilizing insurance premiums.
“Our owner-operators’ commitment
to safety helps us remain a cut above the competition,” he states.
Since the program was initiated in 2001, more than $60,000 has been
distributed to DSI contractors, including over $13,000 in 2006.
