2007 President’s Conference Attendees:

Delivery Solutions recently held its annual President’s
Conference in Rancho Mirage, California. CEO Dave Thompson
and his wife Anna-Marie hosted twenty members of DSI’s management
team for the two-day event. Activities and meetings focused on this
year’s theme, Building For Tomorrow.
Managers identified and reviewed the following major accomplishments
in 2006: Significant new business growth… adding key retailers
Banner Mattress, Easy Life Furniture, and Sleep America; 100% success
rate for contract renewals, specifically Circuit City, Dearden’s,
and Mattress Gallery; Implementation of value added programs &
services such as JulySoft automated calling
system and Through the Customer’s Eyes staff
training.
Key initiatives targeted for 2007 included refining the Claims
Process along with ideas to reduce
claim frequency, and the continuing emphasis on further reductions
in the number of “2nd Drivers” on delivery trucks.
Attendees agreed the highlight of the conference was the “Team
Energizer” workshop conducted by facilitator
Gail Martin-Mauser of A New Team Adventure. She
and her assistant led the DSI team in a collaborative effort designed
to promote Team Spirit, Growth, Bonding, and Self-Insight. By the
end of the session, managers expressed strong feelings of commitment
to each other, to the DSI team, and to doing Whatever
It Takes for clients and their customers.
