DSI's "Whatever It Takes" Philosophy Leads to New Business

DSI's Roy SiuAshley Furniture in Phoenix, AZ had a unique problem this past December… strong sales were generating more customer deliveries than their operation could handle! Michael Jedlowski, Ashley's dynamic CEO, was already in the process of evaluating a proposal from Delivery Solutions when he reached out for some "emergency" help.

Reaching Michael on his cell phone the Saturday before Christmas, DSI's Dave Thompson committed to having four teams delivering for Ashley in Phoenix within 10 days! That's when the real work started. Jonathan Arrendale and Roy Siu spearheaded DSI's plan, identifying trained and experienced teams in Phoenix, as well as coordinating travel for current DSI contractors from Northern California to the Phoenix area. Service for Ashley was initiated the week following Christmas with four routes daily, and now includes on-site management.

By doing Whatever It Takes to solve Ashley's capacity shortfall, DSI has developed a loyal new client, one of the fastest growing and most respected furniture retailers in the country.
