Delivery Solutions has a commitment to "deliver back to the community" through deserving charities. Some of the many organizations that have benefited from the generosity of Delivery Solutions include:

Para Los Ninos, Los Angeles

Para Los Ninos is a non-profit family service agency serving Los Angeles. Its vision is to "raise children out of poverty and into a brighter future." Founded in 1980, the organization began by assisting "latch-key" children living in Skid Row hotels. Today the organization helps over 1,300 children each day, and over 3,000 families a week. The charity’s assistance includes academic enrichment, child development, crisis intervention, counseling, and juvenile crime prevention programs.

"Anything we can do to help improve the lives of children is a worthy endeavor, and important to all of us in the DSI family," stated Vice-President/General Manager, Jim Forman.

Para Los Ninos has become a cornerstone of DSI’s charitable efforts. Since its initial involvement in 1998, DSI has contributed over $35,000. Delivery Solutions has been honored with a commendation on the Para Los Ninos "Donor Wall."

Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ventura County

Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the nation’s preeminent youth-service organization for nearly a century, creates and nurtures relationships between adults and children. Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ventura County assists over 300 children in the community by matching them with adults who can help them discover a world of possibilities and opportunities. These shared experiences have a lasting impact on the children’s lives.

DSI is proud to be a major sponsor of a yearly golf tournament hosted by PGA tour pro Corey Pavin. This tournament has benefited Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ventura County since 1999. Delivery Solutions president, Dave Thompson, also serves as a director on the Tournament Committee, assisting with the planning and coordination of the event.

City of Hope

Together with the National Home Furnishings Industry Chapter for City of Hope, Delivery Solutions is pleased to support the annual West Coast Golf and Tennis Tournament. The Tournament is City of Hope's second oldest event and has set fund raising records for the world renowned cancer center. Funds raised will support special needs in the pediatric clinic as well as traditional cancer therapies and clinical trials in gene therapy.

"By increasing our commitment to the City of Hope, we're helping to win the war against cancer, diabetes, and a host of life-threatening diseases," stated Dave Thompson, president of DSI. The generosity of the home furnishings industry and its partners has been of invaluable importance in supporting City of Hope as it brings hope and healing to countless individuals and their families.
